Employment Status: Part Time 3 days, Friday- Sunday, Occasional 4th day during busy times - Seasonal
Wage Range: $19.00 -$21.00/hr DOE

Position Summary:
Position monitors validity of day tickets and season passes. Limits fraudulent acts through the use of RFID gates. Supervises and provides breaks for all ticket checkers. Functions as a village ambassador for the Lift Operations department.
Essential Functions and Major Responsibilities:
- Ensures ticket checking crew verifies every ticket or season pass using RFID gates.
- Maintains proper functioning of gates and tablets in coordination with the System Administrator.
- May cross train with other elements of the Lift Operations Department.
- Provides breaks for ticket checkers and occasionally lift operators in the village area.
- Functions as an information source for resort guests.
- Works closely with Schweitzer Security to handle individuals using fraudulent passes.
Specific Job Skills:
License/Certifications- None
Technical- Basic computer skills required.
Physical Capabilities- Able to stand outside in all weather conditions and temperatures. Able to assist guests stand up with the possibility of lifting 50+ pounds. Skiing or snowboarding at a beginner level.
Additional- Pleasant guest interaction skills. Prior winter resort experience preferred. Prior supervisory experience preferred.
Education/Related Experience:
Minimum education required - English reading, writing and communication skills, basic math skills.
Minimum time in a related position - 1 year winter resort experience preferred. Lift experience is a plus but not required.
Equipment and Safety/Protective Equipment Used:
Radios, tablets, shovels, brooms, Pulaski, rakes, drills, chairlifts.
Gear provided – Helmet, Snow pants, inner snow jacket, and outer shell jacket.
Gear NOT provided – Hat, gloves, base layers, boots, board, skis.
