Our client is seeking an experienced UX Manager to lead the development of user experience across its digital product ecosystem.

The role is responsible for shaping intuitive, seamless, secure, and consistent digital experiences while embedding a strong customer-centric mindset throughout the product development process.

Beyond leading the UX/UI team, this position will serve as a key bridge between Business, Product, Technology, and Data functions to ensure that digital experiences deliver meaningful customer value while supporting long-term business growth and competitive advantage.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

UX Strategy & Governance

Develop and drive the overall user experience strategy in alignment with the company’s digital product roadmap and business direction.

Establish UX standards, design principles, governance frameworks, and operating guidelines to ensure consistency across the entire digital ecosystem.

Ensure that user experience considerations are embedded throughout the product development lifecycle, from concept and research through implementation and post-launch optimization.

Digital Journey Design

Lead the design direction for key customer journeys across major digital products and services.

Ensure that digital experiences are simple, intuitive, efficient, trustworthy, and scalable.

Translate complex business, operational, and technical requirements into clear and user-friendly experiences.

Continuously identify opportunities to simplify customer journeys, reduce friction, and improve usability across digital touchpoints.

Design System Development

Own the development and continuous enhancement of the company-wide Design System.

Define and maintain reusable components, design standards, interaction patterns, visual guidelines, and UX principles.

Drive consistency across digital products while improving collaboration and delivery efficiency between Design and Technology teams.

Ensure the Design System is scalable and capable of supporting future product development and expansion.

User Research & Customer Insights

Lead qualitative and quantitative user research initiatives to better understand customer behaviors, needs, expectations, and pain points.

Apply research methods such as usability testing, customer journey mapping, behavioral analysis, and A/B testing.

Translate customer insights and research findings into practical product and experience improvements.

Work with Product and Data teams to establish clear feedback loops between customer behavior, product performance, and design decisions.

Data-Driven Experience Optimization

Promote a product development culture grounded in data, experimentation, and continuous learning.

Use behavioral data, testing results, customer feedback, and product metrics to evaluate user experience effectiveness.

Identify opportunities for continuous optimization and support teams in making evidence-based design decisions.

Drive structured experimentation to validate design hypotheses and improve product outcomes.

Cross-functional Collaboration

Work closely with Business, Product, Technology, Data, and other relevant functions to align customer needs with business priorities and technical feasibility.

Act as a strategic UX partner to key stakeholders throughout the product development process.

Facilitate alignment among cross-functional teams on experience priorities, design direction, and product improvements.

Influence stakeholders to strengthen customer-centric thinking across the organization.

UX/UI Team Leadership

Build, lead, and develop a high-performing UX/UI Design team.

Define clear team objectives, responsibilities, standards, and ways of working.

Develop career paths and capability-building plans for team members.

Provide regular coaching, mentoring, design reviews, and professional development support.

Create a working environment that encourages learning, innovation, collaboration, and customer-centric thinking.



Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or above in Design, Information Technology, Finance, Banking, or a related discipline.

Minimum of 7 years of experience in UX, Product Design, or a related field, including at least 3 years in a team management or leadership role.

Experience within financial services, digital banking, fintech, investment platforms, or large-scale digital products would be a strong advantage.

Strong systems thinking with the ability to connect business objectives, customer needs, and technology solutions.

Solid understanding of the end-to-end digital product development lifecycle, from research and design through implementation, launch, and continuous optimization.

Proven experience in developing and managing Design Systems.

Hands-on experience with usability testing, customer journey mapping, A/B testing, user behavior analysis, and data-driven UX optimization.

Strong leadership capabilities with the ability to coach teams, drive change, and build a customer-centric product culture.

Excellent stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset with the ability to balance customer experience, business value, and technical feasibility.
