The position is responsible for ensuring service quality, operational efficiency, cost control, asset utilization, and on-time delivery performance in line with company standards and KPIs.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Operations & Service Quality Management
Oversee end-to-end operational activities across hubs, sorting centers, branches, and delivery units within the assigned region.
Ensure sorting, transportation, pickup, and delivery activities are executed in accordance with established procedures, timelines, and service quality standards.
Monitor key operational KPIs, identify service gaps or emerging issues, and take timely corrective actions to maintain operational stability and customer service levels.
Develop and implement improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, service quality, and overall operational efficiency across regional units.
Drive consistent operational standards and execution across all locations under the assigned scope.
Budget & Cost Management
Develop, manage, and control the regional operations budget in line with approved business plans.
Monitor and analyze actual operating expenses against budget and identify areas requiring corrective action.
Implement initiatives to optimize transportation, sorting, warehousing, and delivery costs without compromising service quality.
Regularly evaluate operational cost effectiveness and improve resource utilization across the region.
Accounts Receivable Management
Monitor and follow up on outstanding receivables in accordance with company policies and agreed timelines.
Coordinate with relevant departments to resolve overdue accounts and minimize financial exposure.
Ensure reconciliation and collection processes are completed accurately, thoroughly, and on schedule.
Asset Management
Oversee transportation vehicles, operational equipment, and other company assets within the assigned region.
Ensure assets are properly utilized, maintained, and controlled to maximize efficiency and minimize loss or misuse.
Organize periodic asset inventories and recommend appropriate maintenance, repair, or replacement actions when required.
Monitor asset condition and availability to ensure operational continuity.
Team Leadership & Development
Lead, assign responsibilities to, supervise, and evaluate branch leaders, center managers, and other operations management personnel within the region.
Provide coaching, guidance, and development support to strengthen team capabilities and ensure operational requirements are consistently met.
Build a professional, collaborative, and performance-oriented working environment.
Identify and implement initiatives to improve workforce productivity, management effectiveness, and overall team performance.
Promote accountability and effective coordination across regional operations teams.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in logistics, express delivery, transportation, or a related industry, with proven experience managing regional or multi-location operations.
Strong understanding of operational management, service quality, cost control, and performance management.
Good communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
Strong planning, organizational, and time-management capabilities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with CRM, ERP, or other operational management systems is preferred.
Proven ability to lead teams, coordinate cross-functional activities, and drive performance improvements.
Good command of English.
Proactive, accountable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment.
Ability to manage multiple operational priorities and respond effectively to unexpected situations.
