Our client, a leading company in the financial services and securities industry, is seeking a qualified candidate to join their firm.
- Manage and take full ownership of the Corporate Research team’s analytical reports and research deliverables, leading a team expected to grow to approximately 5 research analysts.
- Participate in recruiting, training, coaching, and developing research analysts to build a strong Corporate Research team supporting the Institutional Clients.
- Coordinate and organize quarterly and annual company visits for analysts to collect business information, conduct fundamental research, and prepare in-depth company reports.
- Identify and evaluate investment opportunities through fundamental analysis, valuation, and company research to develop investment recommendations and portfolio strategies.
- Review and ensure the quality, accuracy, and consistency of research reports and investment recommendations produced by the team.
- Work closely with the Institutional Client Management team to provide research insights and investment views for institutional clients.
- Participate in client meetings alongside the Head of Institutional Client Management when required, providing professional investment analysis and presenting research views from a technical perspective. Develop work plans, allocate responsibilities, and evaluate team performance based on quarterly KPI frameworks.
- Collaborate on other strategic initiatives and assignments as directed by the Director of Research and senior management.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree with excellent academic performance or higher in Economics, Finance & Banking, Investment, Auditing, or related fields.
- Master’s degree from an overseas institution and professional certifications such as CFA or CPA are highly preferred.
- At least 6 years of experience in investment analysis, equity research, corporate analysis, or related fields.
- Strong presentation and advisory skills, with the ability to communicate persuasively in both Vietnamese and English.
- Fluent English proficiency across all four skills: listening, speaking, reading, and writing, equivalent to IELTS 6.5 or above.
