About the Role
As part of our team, you will help drive results for our clients and their employees by delivering innovative and effective solutions as part of our Financial Services team. The Senior Client Manager is responsible for the overall management and delivery of participant advisory services products, including managed accounts, online advice solutions, financial planning, and overall financial wellbeing solutions for their aligned clients. Working with internal teams and vendor partners, the Client Manager will facilitate the delivery of services that enable end users to improve their retirement readiness and overall financial wellbeing. Responsibilities of the role include client service satisfaction, implementation of service enhancements, working with internal teams to present enhanced services, consulting on best practices, providing operations support and financial management for their aligned clients.
Responsibilities:
- Consult with clients on service features, utilization, and participant engagement. Provide project leadership and management for service enhancements, plan changes, and regulatory impacts.
- Understand the client/provider's requirements for satisfaction regarding service delivery and serve as a customer advocate for client/provider's needs
- Present new product features and new products to current clients
- Conduct testing of the systems to support the delivery of the services
- Oversee client reporting and development of client facing presentations
- Develop an appropriate strategy for each aligned client to market and grow utilization of services
- Develop and maintain key client retention plans and profitability margins
- Review and approve client invoices for services
- Serve as subject matter expert and represent Alight’s Financial Services products in sales meetings
- Partner with key internal and external partners to support services.
- Coach and mentor junior level team members and support and encourage peers
Relationship Management
- Partner with vendor contacts and internal team members on delivery excellence
- Provide proactive ongoing status updates to key internal stakeholders and vendor partners, identifying issues with clear actions and accountability for resolution
- Facilitate effective meetings with clients, vendor partners, and internal team members; establish objectives and agenda, manage logistics, document meeting decisions / actions; ensure all open items are successfully closed
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in the Financial Services/401k benefits arena
- 3 + years Project Management experience
- 3+ years experience managing complex client relationships
- 3+ years proficient in client consulting skills, driving to best practices
- Possess an active FINRA Series 63 or Series 65 license at the time of hire, or be eligible and able to successfully obtain the required license within six (6) months of employment.
- Understanding of investment advisory solutions and the marketplace including competitors, market pricing, delivery needs, client expectations, etc.
- Possess compliance, regulatory and legislative knowledge, and awareness
- Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills
- Able to develop and maintain effective business relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Be proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Copilot, AI powered tools, etc.)
- Able to multi-task and prioritize many competing tasks
- Possess highly effective analytical and problem-solving skills
- Be proactive and demonstrate a high degree of initiative and ownership

Salary Pay Range
Minimum :
90,000.00 USDMaximum :
