We are seeking a highly skilled Substation Protection Engineer to contribute to our team in Saudi Arabia. This role demands a comprehensive understanding of power system protection principles, relay settings, and substation automation. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, engineering, testing, and implementing protection systems for high-voltage substations. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, the engineer will ensure the reliable and secure operation of our electrical power systems.

Requirements

Key Expertise
• Scheme check, Auxiliary/TRIP Relays, MCCB & meters, Protection & Control IEDs
• Stability testing, Final Trip Test, and Live Substation operations
• Working with ABB, MICOM, and SIEMENS relays
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering with a specialization in power systems
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in substation protection engineering
• Familiarity with Saudi Electricity Company (SEC) Standards
• Strong understanding of power system protection principles, relay coordination, and substation automation
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Non-citizen applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree in engineering awarded at least 5 years ago
