Join AfterQuery's early team in San Francisco to work directly with the founders on high-priority initiatives spanning product development, novel dataset generation, and operations. As a Strategic Projects Lead, you will sit at the intersection of strategy and execution, driving ambitious, revenue-generating projects that shape the company's trajectory and push the boundaries of artificial intelligence alongside frontier foundation model labs.
What youll do
- Partner with leading AI labs to build next-generation datasets that expand model capabilities and drive revenue.
- Manage and coordinate teams of domain experts across finance, software engineering, and the sciences.
- Collaborate with internal researchers to design and execute groundbreaking AI experiments and product initiatives.
- Lead cross-company strategic projects and serve as a key execution driver on the early team.
- Support day-to-day operations to help the team stay focused and move quickly.

- A proven track record of competitive success and high achievement, with experience in finance, consulting, or private equity strongly preferred.
- Strong leadership and communication skills to direct cross-functional teams and collaborate with leading AI labs.
- Deep passion for artificial intelligence paired with entrepreneurial drive, whether you are already in the industry or pivoting from another field.
- Exceptional work ethic, high agency, and a willingness to own critical projects in a fast-moving environment.
