About this role
What we're looking for:
We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer with 6-10 years of experience in building and maintaining core infrastructure for a rapidly growing tech company. You should be comfortable architecting and developing shared infrastructure, mentoring junior engineers, and have a track record of building scalable, reliable, and high-throughput systems. Bonus points if you have experience in the human-in-the-loop data space or at a high-growth startup.
What you'll do:
Design and build the core, shared infrastructure that powers all of AfterQuery's data generation platforms, human-in-the-loop systems, and evaluation pipelines.
Take ownership of our foundational systems to ensure they are scalable and reliable for future growth.
Work closely with our vertical-focused engineering teams to provide the platform and services they need to build quickly and effectively.
Architect and develop scalable distributed systems capable of processing large-scale datasets and high-throughput workloads.
Lead the charge on establishing engineering best practices for system design, deployment, and reliability.
Mentor the entire junior engineering team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
