Job Description

Project Management

  • Lead the execution of railway civil and track construction projects from initiation through completion.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, resource plans, and execution strategies.
  • Monitor project progress and implement corrective actions where required.
  • Ensure project delivery aligns with client requirements, contractual obligations, and company objectives.

Civil & Track Construction Management

  • Manage all civil works activities, including earthworks, structures, drainage, foundations, and railway-related infrastructure.
  • Oversee track installation activities, including ballast, sleepers, rails, turnouts, and associated track components.
  • Ensure compliance with approved designs, specifications, and construction standards.
  • Coordinate construction interfaces between civil, track, signalling, telecommunications, and systems teams.

Stakeholder Management

  • Maintain effective communication with clients, consultants, contractors, and regulatory authorities.
  • Lead project meetings and provide progress reports to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Resolve technical, commercial, and operational issues affecting project performance.

Health, Safety & Environment (HSE)

  • Promote and maintain a strong safety culture across the project.
  • Ensure compliance with company HSE policies and project-specific safety requirements.
  • Lead investigations of incidents and implement corrective and preventive actions.

Commercial & Contract Management

  • Monitor project costs and ensure financial targets are achieved.
  • Manage variations, claims, and contractual correspondence.
  • Review subcontractor performance, certifications, and payment applications.

Quality Management

  • Ensure all works comply with approved quality plans and inspection requirements.
  • Monitor testing, commissioning, and handover activities.
  • Ensure project documentation is maintained and handed over in accordance with client requirements.

Leadership & Team Management

  • Lead multidisciplinary project teams and subcontractors.
  • Mentor engineers and site management personnel.
  • Drive team performance and promote continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
  • Master's Degree in Engineering or Project Management is preferred.

Professional Certifications

  • PMP (Project Management Professional) preferred.
  • PRINCE2 certification is an advantage.
  • SCE Registration (Saudi Council of Engineers) preferred for projects in Saudi Arabia.
