OVERVIEW OF ROLE


As an Associate Product Manager, you will bridge the gap between complex hardware/software engineering capabilities and market demands. You will be responsible for translating field-testing, usage data, and market dynamics into actionable insights that supports our Senior Product Managers throughout the navigation product lifecycle. This is a high-impact role requiring deep data literacy, product discovery frameworks, and the ability to thrive in a deep-tech engineering environment. You will work closely with the Product Team in implementing key product decisions.


ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES


1. Product Data Analytics & Insights

Own the end-to-end data pipelines for product performance, analytics, and customer usage behavior.

Support Product in providing data driven analytics from marketing channels.


2. Product Discovery & Strategy Support

Partner with Senior Product Managers to lead product discovery phases using data-backed hypotheses and design thinking frameworks.

Assist in modelling ROI and conduct financial/strategic planning for new product updates, evaluating target commercial opportunities globally.

Perform competitive intelligence and market fit analysis within defense and commercial applications.


3. Cross-Functional Collaboration

Support in unifying Product & Tech, Engineering, Sales, Customer Support and Marketing

Synthesize raw technical field-testing data and customer support escalations into prioritized feature requests for engineering teams.

Collate and support in the prioritization of engineering tasks.


4. Ownership & Continuous Improvement

Drive accountability by establishing robust data-governance standards for how the product team measures success.

Champion a "Progress over Perfection" mentality by delivering rapid prototypes of dashboards and insights, iteratively refining them alongside product shifts.


QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS

  • Bachelor’s degree in a highly quantitative or technical field (e.g., Data Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or Computer Science).
  • 3+ years of experience in a technical role, preferably within a deep tech, robotics or high-reliability manufacturing organization.
  • Comfortable working around highly technical product concepts, such as Inertial Measurement Units (IMUs), GNSS, robotics, sensor fusion, or acoustics.
  • Strong grasp of Agile methodologies and modern product management frameworks.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills; able to explain complex statistical models to non-technical stakeholders and vice versa.
  • A curious mindset with an intrinsic drive to learn complex technical frameworks quickly.
  • Exceptional attention to detail combined with a bias for action and decisive problem-solving.
