Job Purpose: Head HR for the port business unit is to lead HR functions, align with organizational goals, optimize workforce productivity, and enhance operations. Implement performance management, develop compensation strategies, oversee workforce planning, and manage HRMS deployment. Ensure compliance and use analytics for strategic decisions.

Responsibilities

Talent Acquisition:

Develop and execute recruitment strategies to attract and hire top talent for Site (Medium).

Manpower Deployment:

Coordinate with project managers to meet manpower needs and ensure employee deployment for Site (Medium).

Performance Management System:

Oversee performance reviews and feedback to drive employee development and engagement at Site (Medium).

Capability Building:

Assess training needs and design programs to enhance skills and capabilities at Site (Medium).

Compliance Management:

Ensure HR practices meet legal requirements through regular audits and process management for Site (Medium).

HR Technology Management:

Implement and manage HR technologies to streamline processes and improve efficiency at Site (Medium).

Reporting and analytics:

Establish a robust reporting framework for HR metrics, focusing on workforce productivity, turnover, training effectiveness, and employee engagement.

Contract labour management :

Ensure that all contract labor activities comply with labor laws and regulations, including proper documentation, timely wage disbursements, and adherence to workplace safety and welfare standards.

Brand Positioning:

Uphold Adani's brand values in all interactions and build strong relationships to fortify brand trust and loyalty.

Digital Mindset:

Keep up with digital and AI advancements to enhance business and maintain competitiveness.

Team Development:

Promote a respectful and safe workplace, lead collaborative and productive teams, and mentor for growth and success.

Qualifications

 

Experience & Educational Requirements

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:

(degree, training, or certification required)

Full Time MBA 
RELEVANT EXPERIENCE: (no. of years of technical, functional, and/or leadership experience or specific exposure required) 12 to 15 years experience in managing HR function in a reputed industry in the stated role
