Overview
We are looking for a detail-oriented Test Automation Engineer with a proven background in test automation frameworks, a solid understanding of relational databases, and experience with Microsoft Power Platform development. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and executing automated test plans while also supporting manual/functional testing efforts as needed, with opportunity to assist in development efforts to implement new features.

- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for UI and API testing
- Execute manual and functional tests during feature development or regression cycles
- Collaborate with developers and business analysts to ensure application quality and coverage
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines by integrating automated tests
- Analyze test results, identify bugs, and document issues clearly and accurately
- Participate in sprint planning, grooming, and retrospective meetings as part of an Agile team
- Provide input on testability and potential risks during the design and development phases
- Support testing for applications built with Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate)
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in software test automation (Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or similar)
- Familiarity with source control (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions)
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Willingness to perform manual testing as needed to ensure full test coverage
Preferred Qualifications
- Exposure to Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI)
- Experience with Power Apps Test Studio or similar tools
- Familiarity with ALM processes and testing strategies in low-code/no-code environments
- Understanding of Agile methodologies and QA best practices
- Microsoft certifications related to testing or Power Platform (e.g., PL-100, ISTQB)
Clearance Requirement
- Must have US Citizenship and ability to obtain and maintain a High Risk Public Trust clearance.
