About the role | Mō te tūranga mahi
As an HR Support, you will play an important role in enabling the delivery of professional People & Culture services across ACC. Working closely with payroll and wider People & Culture teams, you will provide high-quality payroll administration, HR administration, reporting, triage and general administrative support in a varied and fast-paced environment. You will help maintain accurate people information, support efficient HR service delivery, contribute to positive employee experiences and help ACC continue supporting New Zealanders while contributing to keeping Kiwis safe at work, at home, and everywhere in between.
 
The appointing salary for this role is $61,766 to $67,442 based on experience. ACC offers a comprehensive benefits package which at present includes an advantageous superannuation scheme (9% contribution) with features like no mandatory employee contribution, optional life and income protection insurance.

You will bring:
  • Experience providing administrative support within HR, payroll, customer service or a similar support environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining accurate records and documentation.
  • The ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver work with pace while maintaining quality.
  • Excellent organisational skills and confidence working with systems, data and reporting.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with a professional and customer-focused approach.
  • A collaborative mindset, with the ability to build positive relationships across teams and stakeholders.
  • Sound problem-solving skills and the ability to identify issues, consider user needs and contribute to positive outcomes.
  • A proactive approach to continuous improvement and enhancing service delivery.
  • Empathy, professionalism and a genuine desire to support people and create a great employee experience.
  • You must hold New Zealand work rights at the time of application.
