About this role
SUMMARY
A successful candidate will provide comprehensive Human Resources support to business units in all areas of HR including employee relations, recruiting and on-boarding, benefit administration and coordination of new hires for the Miami location.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on employee relations issues
- Lead new hire orientation
- Recruiter for salaried positions
- Investigate and resolve employee complaints and grievances
- Conduct exit interviews and provide feedback to management
- Manage employee discipline and performance improvement processes
- Ensure consistent execution of performance management and disciplinary actions
- Partner with HR and business leaders to develop and execute employee engagement initiatives
- Aiding communication between management and employees and resolving issues
- Lead employee round table discussions
QUALIFICATIONS
Excellent problem solving and organizational skills
High attention to detail with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
Extremely strong customer service and interpersonal communication skills (verbal and written)
Excellent judgment in a range of situations, maturity and trustworthiness
Strong employee relations experience
Ability to thrive in a fast paced environment
Strong proficiency with Excel, Word, Outlook and Powerpoint
Fluent in both English and Spanish (verbal and written) to effectively communicate with Spanish-speaking clients and team members (required)
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
Bachelor of Arts degree (B.A.) or Bachelor of Science degree (B.S.) from a four year college or university; five or more years of related experience and/or training.
PHR/SPHR/SHRM-CP certification required.
