About this role
The ideal candidate will excel in a collaborative setting, dedicated to providing exceptional obstetric and gynecologic care while cultivating strong relationships with patients, colleagues, and support staff.
Responsibilities include delivering comprehensive in-house obstetric care, encompassing labor management, deliveries, obstetric triage, gynecologic consultations, and emergent gynecologic surgeries, as well as addressing acute clinical issues.
The position offers a balanced schedule of 7 to 8 twenty-four-hour shifts per month within a 269-bed community hospital that facilitates approximately 140 deliveries monthly.
The provider will collaborate with a Level II-B NICU team, delivering care for newborns born at or after 31 weeks' gestation. Each shift will be supported by experienced Certified Nurse Midwives (CNMs) and backed by diligent OB/GYN coverage. The health system employs a fully integrated Epic electronic medical record platform, ensuring streamlined coordination of care across the facility.

Job Requirements:
- Board Certified or Board Eligible (within 0-5 years post-residency) in OB/GYN - [REQUIRED]
- Colorado medical license (or willingness to obtain) - [REQUIRED]
- Clean malpractice history - [HIGHLY PREFERRED]
- Most recent NPDB Self Query Report (within 30 days of active status) - [REQUIRED]
- DEA registration (must be obtained before commencement) - [REQUIRED]
