Position Announcement: Hematology/Oncology Physician




We are actively seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Hematology/Oncology Physician to join a dynamic and innovative team, dedicated to delivering exemplary cancer care. Our focus is on advancing treatment modalities and conducting clinical trials within a highly collaborative and supportive setting.




Role Overview:
As a Hematology/Oncology Physician, you will:




- Provide comprehensive patient care for individuals afflicted with a range of malignancies and hematological disorders, such as leukemia, lymphoma, and myeloma.



- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team comprising nine physicians, eight advanced practice providers (APPs), and ancillary staff to deliver specialized, disease-centered care.



- Work in tandem with nurse navigators and care managers to ensure coordinated, high-quality patient experiences and outcomes.
- Stay informed about cutting-edge treatments and technological advancements in oncology.




- Utilize the EPIC Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system to document and manage patient care efficiently across our healthcare network.



Engage in clinical research initiatives and implement novel treatment methodologies.




- Provide consultations and second opinions for complex oncology cases, devising tailored treatment plans.



- Partner with a forward-thinking clinical team to uphold the highest standards of patient care.




- Participate in shared call responsibilities with a large cohort of clinicians and hospitalists, minimizing individual call burden.



Work Schedule:
- Day shifts with potential flexibility based on scheduling demands.




Mandatory Qualifications:
- Board Eligible (within five years of residency) or Board Certified in Hematology and Oncology



- REQUIRED (no exceptions)
- Active Colorado medical licensure (or willingness to obtain)



- REQUIRED
- Unblemished malpractice and licensing history



- HIGHLY PREFERRED
- Recent NPDB Self Query Report (obtained within the last 30 days)



- REQUIRED (no exemptions)
- DEA registration (must be acquired prior to commencement of employment) - REQUIRED (no exemptions)



Certification Requirements:
- Board Certified
- Board Eligible




Licensure Requirements:
- Colorado Medical License
