The schedule consists of 4 working days per week, with Mondays reserved as a non-clinical/admin day.
The locum provider will be required to provide full-time coverage for the remainder of 2027, with the potential for an extension into 2028.

- Patient Load: Approximately 18-20 patients daily; case mix is 35% Hematology and 65% Oncology.
- Weekend Call: Rotation begins Friday at 5 PM and concludes Monday at 7 AM.
- The provider will be part of an on-call rotation with other providers and will also serve as a backup for Advanced Practice Providers (APPs). During on-call hours, the locum must be available for consultation via telephone, with the APP determining if in-person attendance is necessary.

Winchester: Coverage on Wednesdays.
- Hagerstown: Coverage required bi-monthly on the 1st and 3rd Thursdays.
Note on Cases Handled:

Team Composition:
- Reid Team: Comprises of 2 oncologists and 4 APPs.
- Current oncologists see 18-20 patients daily, while APPs manage 14-18 patients daily.

- Board certification required in both Hematology and Oncology.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience preferred.
- Influenza vaccination is mandatory unless a medical or religious exemption is presented.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association is required for all specialties.
This comprehensive locum opportunity is tailored for a dedicated specialist ready to integrate into a cohesive care team focused on delivering high-quality oncology and hematology services.
