- ICU: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM
- Hospital Coverage (Pulmonary/Critical Care): 7:30 AM - 5:00 PM
- Schedule: Monday through Sunday
- Call Coverage: None required
Provider Requirements:
- Number of Providers Needed: 1-2
Practice Environment:
- Settings: Inpatient/Hospital-Based, covering multiple facilities
- Patient Demographics: Adult and geriatric populations; no pediatrics or neonatal care
- Patient Volume:
- Inpatient: 100% of total care
- Average Daily Patient Load: 10-15 in hospital and 10-15 in ICU
Required Qualifications & Skills:
- Must possess competencies in intensive care management and the ability to perform general pulmonology consultations within the hospital.
- EMR System: Epic
Additional Information:
- Facility capacity includes 20 ICU beds, 12 CCU beds, and 6 CVICU beds, totaling 38 beds.
- Average daily census for the hospital's pulmonology department is approximately 40 patients, supported by a team of up to three physicians and three APCs covering the Pulmonary/Critical Care service on weekdays.

- ICU Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM
- Hospital Shift: 7:30 AM - 5:00 PM (for Pulmonary/Critical Care), Monday through Sunday
Certification and Licensing Requirements:
- Mandatory Certifications:
- ACLS
- Board Certification in relevant specialty
- Active South Carolina medical license
- Active DEA registration
- Fellowship: Required in Critical Care/Pulmonology
- Critical Care Board Certification: Required, with a preference for Pulmonary specialization
