In this role, you will play a vital part in diagnosing and treating cardiac conditions, utilizing advanced interventional procedures. As a Locum Physician, you will work closely with our team to provide high-quality care and ensure patient success through state-of-the-art techniques in interventional cardiology. JOB DETAILS:
*Practice Setting: Inpatient/On-Call
Schedule:
- Onsite Staffing (Weekdays): Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- On-Call (Weekday Evenings): Monday – Friday, 5:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- On-Call (Weekends): Saturday 7:00 AM – Monday 7:00 AM

Rounding Responsibilities: Potential for some rounding duties.
- Call Schedule: STEMI call aligned with unassigned call and noninvasive coverage.
- Call Ratio: 9 VCS to 7 RHV (TBD).
- Average Inpatient Admissions Per Physician: Greater than 2 daily.
- Trauma Level/Designation: None.

-Adult and geriatric populations.

- EPIC
Procedures Required:
- Balloon Angioplasties
- Coronary Angioplasty
- Percutaneous Coronary Intervention (PCI)
- Heart Catheterization
- Medical Management of Vascular Disease
- Coronary Angiograms
- Embolic Protection
- Carotid Artery Stenting
- Atherectomy
Qualifications:**
- Board Certified
- BLS/ACLS certified
- Active Virginia state medical license
- Clean malpractice history
- Submission of a Self-Query NPDB report is mandatory.
