About this role

Credentialing for the position is expected to commence immediately upon provider approval, typically taking around 30 days for NRC/State RAM licensing.




Setting: Outpatient context, encompassing multiple facilities.




Operational Schedule: Hourly engagement on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.




Patient Demographics: Diverse patient population primarily consisting of outpatients, with occasional inpatient cases referred from the hospital for simulation and treatment to manage symptoms.




Patient Volume: The average patient load is approximately 60-70 across three locations daily.




Core Responsibilities: Responsibilities include chart evaluations (initial and weekly), machine quality assurance (QA), high-dose rate (HDR) treatment planning and administration, as well as supervision of stereotactic body radiation therapy (SBRT) treatments.




Documentation: Utilization of Aria as the electronic medical record (EMR) system.




Provider Requirement: Local providers only; reimbursement is strictly for mileage incurred.




Mandatory Qualifications:




- Board Certification: Must be board certified by either the ABR or ABMP (mandatory).



- Local Residency: Only local providers will be considered; reimbursement limited to mileage (mandatory)

- Licensure: An active Michigan medical license is required (mandatory).



- Experience: Minimum of three years of relevant experience is required, with five years preferred (mandatory).




- Background Check: Providers must have a clean record with no malpractice claims or licensing issues (mandatory).
