As a Locum Primary Care Physician, you will play a vital role in delivering comprehensive medical services to patients of all ages. You'll work alongside a team of healthcare professionals to diagnose, treat, and manage a wide range of acute and chronic conditions, ensuring the highest standards of patient care and satisfaction. Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive primary care services to patients of all ages
• Diagnose and treat acute and chronic medical conditions
• Develop and implement individualized patient care plans based on clinical assessments
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests and laboratory results
• Prescribe medications and recommend appropriate treatment protocols
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient medical records
• Collaborate with nurses, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care
• Educate patients on preventive care, health maintenance, and wellness strategies
• Respond to medical emergencies and provide urgent care when needed
• Ensure compliance with medical regulations, protocols, and ethical standards

Requirements

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree
• Valid medical license to practice in the state
• Board certification or eligibility in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Primary Care
• Associate-level experience in primary care or related medical practice
• Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills
• Excellent patient communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to work effectively in an on-site, fast-paced medical environment
• Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) systems
• Commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centered care
• Current CPR/BLS certification

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8a-4:30p

Daily Volume: Up to 10 per day, including some possible telehealth appointments

Will treat chronic medical problems such as diabetes, hypertension, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, degenerative arthritis, depression, congestive heart failure, angina, and pain

EMR: CPRS

Must be board-certified or board-eligible
