Description



This on-site, contract position offers a valuable opportunity to provide high-quality anesthesia care within a dynamic medical practice environment. As a key member of our team, you will play an essential role in supporting surgical procedures and ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the perioperative process.



In this role, you will work alongside experienced anesthesiologists, surgeons, and nursing staff to deliver comprehensive anesthesia services. The position is ideal for an Associate-level CRNA looking to apply their clinical expertise in a collaborative, patient-centered setting. You will be responsible for assessing patients, developing anesthesia plans, and monitoring recovery, all while maintaining the highest standards of care.



Responsibilities



  • Perform pre-anesthetic assessments and review patient medical histories
  • Develop and implement individualized anesthesia care plans
  • Administer general, regional, and monitored anesthesia care as required
  • Monitor patients during surgical procedures and adjust anesthesia levels as needed
  • Manage airway and ventilation to ensure patient safety
  • Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals
  • Document anesthesia care accurately and thoroughly in patient records
  • Provide post-anesthesia care and support patient recovery
  • Respond promptly to emergencies and adverse reactions
  • Adhere to all clinical protocols, safety standards, and regulatory requirements


Requirements



  • Associate-level experience as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)
  • Current and unrestricted CRNA certification and state licensure
  • Graduation from an accredited nurse anesthesia educational program
  • Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
  • Proficiency in administering various types of anesthesia and monitoring techniques
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, on-site medical environment
  • Commitment to patient safety and quality care standards
  • Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts and schedules as required by the contract role


Schedule: 8- or 10-hour shifts, Monday-Friday



220 beds



Case Mix: General, neuro, cardiac, ortho, GI, and endo



Must be board-certified
