Position Overview: CRNA Coverage Need




Reason for Opening: Due to retirement of current staff member, whose last working day is November 6th. Preference for the new provider to undergo orientation on November 2nd to ensure continuity of care.




Care Model: MDA Supervision




Work Details:
- Practice Setting: Operating Room (Inpatient & Outpatient); no on-call duty required.



- Schedule: Full-time coverage is mandated, Monday to Friday, from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm (5 days at 8-hour shifts).
- Orientation/Proctoring: To occur one business day before the initial shift.




Procedural Scope:
- Required competencies include managing cases within General Surgery, Orthopedics, Urology, OBGYN, Cataracts, and Endoscopies. Experience with spinal anesthesia is preferred.




Qualifications:
- Certifications: Must hold valid AHA BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications, alongside NBCRNA accreditation.

Software Proficiency: Familiarity with EPIC EMR system is necessary.



- Clinical Experience: A minimum of 75 cases logged within the past year is required.




Licensure:
- Candidates must possess an active Michigan license. Consideration for IMLC may be acceptable for those awaiting licensure.




Credentialing Timeline:
- Standard credentialing process takes about 30 days. Applications will be prioritized based on the projected start date.




Candidate Evaluation Criteria:



- Must meet job requirements.



- Board Certified (or legitimately Board Eligible).



- Background checks, including internet and OIG searches, must return clear.




- Active Michigan license is required.
